This week the CBOT has had a rough time conjuring up a rally. Fund long liquidation and price erosion have been adding the strong pressure we are receiving from the bumper South American crop and increased North American plantings. The outside markets are not giving positive support this week either. Crude oil, precious metals, and stocks have slipped as the dollar continues to get stronger.
There needs to be some better news for the U.S. crops if the market is going to make a turnaround. The weather in the Grand Prairie has been overcast and partly cloudy this week. The next few days will be more of the same with a few chances of some winter weather mix Friday and Saturday.
