Ingredients
- 1 cup cooked white rice
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- Pinch of salt
- Butter, for greasing dish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Butter an 8x8 baking dish.
- In a bowl, whisk milk, cream, sugar, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Fold in cooked rice.
- Pour in prepared dish.
- Bake uncovered 45-50 minutes, until set and slightly golden.
- Cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
