  • 1 cup cooked white rice
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch salt

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Cook, stirring frequently, 20-25 minutes until thick and creamy.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool slightly (it thickens more as it rests).
  4. Serve warm topped with toasted pecans or a drizzle of maple syrup.
