Ingredients
4 cups water
2 cup Riceland Long Grain White Rice
1/2 cup milk (whole, almond, rice, or cashew)
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
Brown sugar, butter, fresh berries to taste
Preparation
1. Add water and rice to a medium saucepan. Bring water to a boil and boil uncovered for 10 minutes.
2. Stirring rice to make sure that it does not stick. There should be some liquid left.
3. Add milk to saucepan and bring to simmer.
4. Add salt and stir. Turn off heat, cover and let sit for 5 minutes.
6. Pour porridge into bowls and top with brown sugar, butter, and berries. If you prefer the porridge a bit creamier, add milk as desired. Serve and enjoy!
