Ingredients
1 cup Riceland Extra Long Grain Rice
1 tablespoon. vegetable oil
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1 teaspoon minced fresh garlic
2 cans (16-ounce each) red kidney beans, drained
6 ounce ham or smoked link sausage, cut into bite-size pieces
1 can (8-ounce) tomato sauce
1 tablespoon. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoons dried oregano leaves
Preparation
1. Prepare rice according to package directions.
2. In medium skillet, heat oil. Add onion, bell pepper, parsley and garlic
3. Saute over medium heat until onions are tender.
4. Add remaining ingredients except rice. Cook over medium heat 10-15 minutes.
5. Serve over hot cooked rice.
