Meet LaTonya Wofford!

LaTonya works for Riceland Soy Division as Lead Clerk V.

LaTonya began her Riceland journey through a temporary agency. She was offered a permanent position and has been promoted several times in her eight years at Riceland.

Her day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring purchasing orders, personnel filing, and payroll processing, to name a few!

When asked her favorite part of her job, she says “I love interacting with other employees; getting to know them and build that trust.”As part of her HR responsibilities, LaTonya finds it crucial to connect with other employees so they feel that they can come to her with any problems or concerns.

Her supervisors have noticed her dedication and enthusiasm. "As her responsibilities shifted, I found LaTonya to be enthusiastic and a pleasure to work with. She's creative about solutions with continuous service improvement and a great team player," says Michelle Lee, Soy Division Human Resources Manager.

Riceland is comprised of 1,500 employees across 30locations. LaTonya adds, “Riceland is an organization that everyone wants to be a part of. Anything that helps other people is good to be involved in.”
